Stampede parade

I can remember going to the parade and/or Stampede when I was little.  I remember driving to Market Mall and taking the shuttle bus down to the grounds.  This was of course in the olden days before the LRT  ; )  I would either go with mom, or with Bharathi's family.  I remember wearing the little straw cowboy hat with the whistle.

We have taken Quinn to the Stampede twice, just to the kiddie area, but this year maybe we'll venture farther in to the grounds.

Lair & I have booked Stampede Parade Day off and I have bought Bleacher Tickets for the parade!  We will have a guaranteed seat with a view, pancake breakfast and private port-o-potties for our section.  Well worth it I think!  So we'll see the parade then head to the grounds.  I'm excited!

First Loose Tooth!

I was flossing Quinn's teeth last night and low and behold, I could see a bump and a TOOTH behind his front bottom tooth.  It's not exactly wiggling yet - but I'm sure it will be soon!

A HUGE Milestone....  I just can not believe how fast time is going....
The first teeth to come in were his two front bottom teeth (he got them for Christmas when he was 6 months old!).  They say the adult teeth come in as the baby teeth did.  So for starters for Quinn will be bottom front, then top front.

I am quite excited to play tooth fairy!  Now I need to figure out what our tradition will be!

I will be sure to post pics of his little toothless grin.

Good peepers!

So a year ago, the eye doctor said:  "we'll wait one more year, and if that time it gets any worse (which he predicted is a high possibility), little man will need little glasses..."

Well he Does NOT!

Quinn had a great eye exam.  His eyes are healthy inside and out.  And his near-sighteness and astigmatism have both improved greatly.

I was so pleased!
