Last night, our friend Tracey Nichols-Chapman passed away after a life long battle with Cancer.
Her storey, in brief:
As a child, she lost an eye to cancer.
30 years later it came back WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT. (This all happened in a span of about 6 weeks).
3 years ago, in her third trimester she found out the cancer was back and they had to take her other eye.
Her & her baby daddy ran off to city hall and got married.
They waited until the baby was far along enough to birth so she could see him.... ...
48 hours later, they took her good eye.
The following year, newly wed, new mom, newly blind, she fought to cancer with everything she had and had countless surgury's...
The 2nd year she spiraled into a deep depression.
This past Christmas, after a complete meltdown, she decided it was time to start living again and was ready to take on her new dark world.
She's not been well for the past 6 weeks. Last week she was admitted into the hospital and diagnosed with Lung Cancer and Brain Tumers. It was time for her to stop fighting.
We were blessed that she called for us and got to spend 3 hours with her on Good Friday.
She passed away last night.
